July 19, 2010 - 'Dialogue du Réconfort' French version
Written in the 'Bell Tower' at the Tower of London, Thomas More's Dialogue of Comfort is now available to subscribers in a French version by Germain Marc’hadour and Jocelyne Malhomme with introduction and notes by Germain Marc’hadour. The book, published by Brepols, will be released in September 2010. June 15, 2010 - The Newsletter-Gazette No 22 is on the website !!
The Newsletter/Gazette 22 is published by the same time as Moreana 179-180 which gives many pages to the Dallas conference in November, 2009 about Thomas More's first works and particularly The Life of Pico.
By publishing researchers' articles on the subject this Moreana issue also brings reflections on the debate More-Cromwell which recently came back on the table following the publication of Hilary Mantel's novel, Wolf Hall.

RSA’s Annual Conference in Venice - April 8-10, 2010
by Marie-Claire Phélippeau, Moreana Editor The Renaissance Society of America is an enormous affair! They count over 3000 members, and this Conference was the biggest ever, with 2500 registrants! This means that 50 papers were given at the same time. Imagine going to a session at 9 am and then having to rush on a vaporetto to another part of town for the next session at 11:30. Fun for most but harsh on others. However everybody enjoyed the scenery and the incredible décors of some of the rooms. The Amici sessions took place first on San Giorgio Maggiore island at the Fondazione Giorgio Cini, a lovely convent which is not open to the public. We felt privileged. This feeling was reinforced on Saturday, when, for our second session, we were accommodated in the Biblioteca Marciana, on the Piazzetta San Marco, just across the Doge’s Palace. As far as Thomas>...
